If you don’t have a team yet, head over to the [Teams building guide] for tips on finding or building a team.
This event is focused on Latin America, but it is open to everyone.
Whether you’re a developer with or without blockchain experience, want to learn more about building in/for Polkadot, or are completely new to the Web3 space, we welcome you!
As long as you are a legitimate citizen who is not on our list of ineligible countries, with an Internet connection, and are 18 years of age or older.
Yes. We want anyone with ideas or a passion to innovate to participate. However, teams will need at least one person who can build/code a prototype, as a code artifact is required for project submission.
You can choose to hack solo. If you form a team, the maximum number of members is 5 people.
It is recommended that teams form within their own locations and time zones to avoid time zone conflicts, but this is not required. You can also choose to join a team located in another time zone.
You can hack solo or find team members on our Hackathon Page after joining the event. Check out our Team Building Guide.
Yes. Only registered people can participate and collect the prizes. Please make sure all your team members have signed up as well.
While we hope you’ll be able to build on Substrate, we invite everyone to build based on whatever knowledge, skills, and experience you have. One of the goals of the hackathon is for you to learn and understand the Polkadot ecosystem, so we welcome anyone to join us.
